It’s still not always okay to not be okay. The timing is never right. You don’t phrase it right. You are too needy. Too desperate for reassurance. Too, you. I will shut up. Change my face. Be okay, just for the crowd. But I’m not okay.
Barnaby’s first day at playgroup in September 2017 and his last day today, July 2019. Two full academic years at Middleforth has seen so many family challenges thrown at us, but playgroup provided a safe space for Bee to grow and learn and just be himself. This is the first time in 7 years that I haven’t had a child at Middleforth Playgroup or one on the waiting list ready to start in the following months. I have to say, I will really miss it, and miss the ladies that have been like extra family members for my boys.
